Legal Advisor Team Dublin

Who we are

AsyLex is a Swiss non-profit organisation which supports refugees by providing free legal aid. All activities are financed by donations and made possible by more than 150 volunteers working for free. Our Dublin team advises and represents asylum seekers that are in the Dublin procedure and therefore have to return to another EU/EFTA state. 

What you will do
In order to strengthen our Dublin team, we are looking for a legal advisor. Your key responsibilities will be:

– Drafting appeals to the SEM and the Federal Administrative Court
– Providing legal advice to clients
– Correspondence with authorities
– What we are looking for 

You have studied or are studying law in your masters and are particularly interested in asylum law. Previous experience in human rights and/or volunteering is an asset. Fluent German, French and English is highly appreciated, any other language is a plus. You are reliable, committed and you have strong organisational skills. If you are passionate about human rights, willing to support us in our cause as well as available at least 3 hours per week (work done remotely), we are looking forward to hearing from you.
