Who we are

AsyLex is a non-profit organization based in Switzerland. We offer free online legal advice for asylum seekers and refugees. Over the past six years, we have advised over 10,000 clients in more than 15 different languages thanks to the efforts of around 150 volunteers, including our Translation Team and a small office team.

What you will do

In order to support our Translation Team, we are looking for an Arabic, Pashto or Farsi translator. Your key responsibilities will be:

􏰀 Translate texts and documents for the AsyLex legal teams (from Arabic, Pashto or Farsi to German or English and vice versa)

􏰀 Participation in team meetings

Who we are looking for

You have strong organizational skills and enjoy working with people, are fluent
in any of the three languages, good knowledge in German and/or English. You
are hard-working, reliable, committed and discrete. Previous experience in translating or volunteering are an asset.
