Ready to embark? YOUR MISSION AT VOI As Operations Intern, you’ll play a key role in Voi’s continued growth and success. Acting on the frontline of our operations, you’ll have a direct impact on our strategy. You and your team will be responsible for ensuring that we have the best product and service out there. By working closely together with stakeholders on all levels, you’ll be instrumental in increasing efficiency and quality in Switzerland. You will take ownership of your own projects and work closely with the leadership team and actively be supporting our operations team in their day to day activities Analysing data using different software and presenting findings to the team. Liaise with a variety of stakeholders internally and after some time you will develop to handle external stakeholders. Preparing reports. Any other ad-hoc duties. This Voiage will give you the opportunity to be in the field and learn from the team. WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO EMBARK At Voi, you’ll come across new challenges regularly and having a proven track record or problem-solving will help you along the way. You are a student or a recent graduate. Proficiency in tools such as G-Suite and MS Office. Keen interest in micro-mobility and Voi! You are fluent in English (written and verbal). Ridgeline Discovery is looking for (Senior) Research Associate – Protein Interactions. Ridgeline Discovery, a Versant Ventures Discovery Engine creates and operates Versant-financed innovative biotech companies in Basel, Switzerland. In recent years, Ridgeline has assembled an international team of >45 highly experienced drug discovery professionals and built and operated several new successful companies, including Black Diamond Therapeutics (Nasdaq: BDTX), Bright Peak Therapeutics and Monte Rosa Therapeutics. Ridgeline is currently expanding its capabilities in Basel to support further company creation efforts in small molecules, biologics, and gene/cell therapy with focus on oncology and immunology. RESPONSIBILITIES You will further strengthen our team by contributing to the development of new biotech companies. You will support the characterization of recombinant proteins such as antibodies and T-cell receptors by applying state-of- the-art techniques to: Determine affinity and binding kinetics on recombinant proteins Assess interaction specificity Conduct epitope binning experiments Evaluate new protein interaction assays and technologies As a member of the Ridgeline Team, you will carry out the design, conduction as well as optimization of the above-mentioned experiments including careful documentation and presentation of your results in internal meetings. This Basel based position offers a tremendous opportunity to support our growing company in an experienced, vibrant, and agile biotech team. We are seeking a highly talented, experienced individual with a broad background in setting up and running cell-based assays to join our team in Basel. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and enthusiastic with a positive “can do” attitude, strong analytical and organizational skills, and a strategic mindset. The successful candidate will work closely within an excellent team of research associates and scientists in a highly dynamic and collaborative environment. RESPONSIBILITIES You will further strengthen our team by helping to increase the biological understanding of targets and drugs as well as developing novel biological assays to help propel our company forward. Your role will be comprised of: Isolation of primary immune cells as well as tissue culture of cancer cell lines and hematopoietic stem Assessing cell surface markers using multi-color FACS stainings Investigating antibody-mediated modes of action by ADCC, proliferation and apoptosis assays, internalization, intracellular signaling etc Analyzing the effect of therapeutic antibody candidates and CAR-T cells on primary immune cells, such as cytokine release or immune cell activation Developing novel and state of the art multi-cell assay formats As a member of our team, you will be responsible for the design and conduction of the above-mentioned experiments including careful documentation and presentation of your results in internal and external meetings.
