What you’ll do:

• Develop proof-of-concept applications using optimization techniques (e.g., Mixed-Integer Linear Programming) to improve daily operations, such as reducing delays or optimizing passenger connections
• Support data science initiatives by applying machine learning techniques (e.g., XGBoost, LightGBM, Prophet) to enhance operational predictions
• Deploy proof-of-concept applications and models to cloud environments (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud)
• Collaborate with end-users and stakeholders to design tailored, efficient solutions

What you bring:

• Enrolled or graduated in Aviation, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (min. three semesters for Bachelor students)
• Experience with programming and databases (e.g., Python, SQL, C#, Angular)
• Familiarity with machine learning, optimization techniques, and cloud infrastructures is a plus
• Creative, proactive, and quick to learn
• Strong analytical mindset and a collaborative approach
• Fluent English skills (German is an advantage)

Duration: 6 months (80–100%)
Salary: CHF 2,500.- (Bachelor) / CHF 3,000.- (Master) per month
