Position
Internship in sensor development
At Sentec we are dedicated to improving our existing products and bringing innovative new technology to the
market. Our transcutaneous sensors incorporate a variety of technologies from electrochemical to optical,
providing clinicians the continuous insight they need to guide care and improve patient outcomes. Join us in
characterizing prototypes, drawing conclusions from the data, and proposing strategies to improve sensor
performance in the next design loop.
Key tasks
• Work hands-on with our transcutaneous monitoring system
• Design experiments together with the team to answer key questions in product development
• Collect and analyze data, and present findings to the team
• Characterize performance of sensor and consumable prototypes

Your profile
• Working towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a scientific or engineering discipline
• Motivated to understand our system on a detailed level
• Prepared to help with variety of tasks including lab work, data analysis, and documentation
• Able to carry out careful experimental work and thorough data analysis
• Very good command of English (spoken and written), conversational German is a plus

• Location: on-site at the Swiss Headquarters in Therwil (approx. 30 minutes from Basel SBB)
• Workload: full-time
• Duration: at least 6 months
