Would you like to be involved in the creating input files or meshes needed for the running the simulation? Our flexible work practices help you optimize personal and business performance while creating an environment where all employees can develop their skills and grow! You will receive dedicated assistance and support from the Hitachi-ABB engineers and scientists and will be involved in all stages of the numerical simulations: from meshing, the setting-up of the computations and the post-processing of the results. The internship duration is for a minimum of 6-months, preferably 12-months.

Your responsibilities
Implementation of the HVCB CAD model in the dedicated thermo-fluid dynamic software
The study will be carried out with the software FLUENT, with an in-house the arc simulations libraries
Meshing of the HVCB model
Data post-processing, analysis, and evaluation of the results
Propose improvements to the simulated case in collaboration with the development team
Plan a dedicated validation campaign

Your background
Bachelor or Master in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Background in fluid-dynamics and thermal management
