Hitachi Energy Research, in close collaboration with business areas, is developing foundations for the next generation of Power Grid products. Located in the proximity of Zürich, our research center employs approximately 60 scientists from all over the world with cross-disciplinary expertise. In the Electromechanics Integration Team we perform cutting-edge research and look at various aspects of making the electric power system stronger, smarter, and more sustainable. One of our aims is the further improvement of performance and reliability of electric high voltage devices like capacitors, transformers, gas insulated switchgears, circuit breakers, and more. In this context, we search an eager to learn person for an internship position which provides the opportunity to work on modelling, simulation, and data analysis in an international team of research scientists.
The duration of this internship will be 6 months. Selected candidates will be required to introduce themselves and their background knowledge during a short interview. Non-EU/EFTA citizens: please note that an official university certificate showing that an internship is a mandatory part of studies is required for the work permit application.
